Our Mission
The Vision of the Burke County Board of Social Services is that the agency serves as a resource to ensure that the needs of the community are met in such a manner that promotes the dignity and worth of the individual. Envisioned is the continuing development of an easily accessible, community-based delivery system that is understood and widely used through positive public awareness. It is foreseen that collaborative efforts with community alliances will help the agency to meet community needs while promoting personal responsibility.
